Folk Arts for Kids – In this class, kids will dance, make crafts, and tell soul-nourishing Appalachian folk tales. Kids will learn through authentic, immersive experiences while their parents do the same in adult classes. They’ll make new friends through a week of rich, shared experiences.
Scholarships are available! Augusta wants every kid to get the chance to experience the joy of traditional arts. If tuition is a barrier for your family, please plan to apply for a scholarship. Applications will be available later in the spring.
