Augusta’s Lift Your Voice Community Choir is launching its 4th season in September 2023.
The Fall 2023 season will feature a selection of heart-warming and joyful music for winter and the holiday season including English carols, Appalachian winter songs and more. Rehearsals will take place on Tuesdays from 6-8 pm, starting September 26, with a concert on Thursday, December 7. The choir will not meet on Halloween (Oct 31) or on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving (Nov 21). We will also hold an optional caroling event on Friday, December 8.
This season, we will be rehearsing at the Randolph County Community Arts Center.
Singers of all levels, ages and vocal ranges are welcome to participate. The project is aimed at increasing opportunities for lifelong learning in the local community. Singers can learn more and register at augustaartsandculture.org. Registration is on a sliding scale of $40 to $200 for the season, with singers choosing the level they can contribute.
Bring a water bottle, a recording device (like your phone!), and your vocal cords! We will provide the rest!
