Cajun & Creole and Classic Country Week (Summer Heritage Workshops 2025)
Augusta’s Cajun and Classic Country Weeks
July 6-11, 2025
Escape the ordinary with an exhilarating week of music and dance at Augusta’s Classic Country, Cajun & Creole Week. This week, you can choose from daytime classes offered in Cajun & Creole music (fiddle, accordion, guitar, vocals and more) and Classic Country music. You have the freedom to create the perfect schedule for yourself from the offerings in both those genres. Don’t wear yourself out too much during the day, though, because the evenings are truly electric this week, filled with world-class concerts, soul-stirring dances and the not-to-be-missed gumbo feast night, “Fais Do Do.”
Folk Arts for Kids will give participants (ages 5 to 11) a chance to explore craft, nature, music and dance in a fun and immersive environment.
A selection of Craft workshops for teens and adults are also available, with more being added soon.
Do you want to get just a taste of Augusta after work? Sign up for an Evening Mini-Class to get 4 nights of instruction with a world-class instructor. If you get the event pass, too, you can join us for all of the week’s dances and concerts in the evening as well. You can sleep next week…
Blind Faith registration opens Dec 1, 2024; Classes announced Feb 1, 2025
