Cooking in Community 2026: Foodways Traditions from Appalachia and Beyond

Welcome to Cooking in Community, a series of foodways classes in Elkins, WV. The classes will be taught by experienced chefs and home cooks from a variety of cultures represented in Appalachia today.

All classes take place from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on the scheduled date and are held at the Phil Gainer Community Center.
