Augusta Strings Program FALL 2024
$240.00
The Augusta Strings Program is a strings ensemble for students in 4th through 12th grade. Students will experience the joy of learning musical traditions from Appalachia, improving their musicianship, and having fun with their friends.
No prior experience on your chosen instrument is required. Classes will accommodate students of different levels and we will add additional class levels if needed. Please indicate in your registration if your student has prior experience with the instrument.
Please note that we will have an optional Instrument Fitting Day on Friday, August 23, 4-5:30 p.m. To alleviate some of the first-day stress, we’re offering an afternoon where you can pick up your borrowed instrument, get your instrument checked over if you are using your own, get help with tuning, etc. This is optional but encouraged!
If you would like to apply for a scholarship to the program, please fill out the scholarship application and wait for your acceptance email before registering your student. CLICK HERE FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION.
