Chaperone or Guest Pass

$100.00

A chaperone or guest pass will give you access to every non-class event on campus during the week (afternoon cultural sessions, evening concerts and dances, jams, student showcases, etc.). You will need a guest pass if you are not a full summer workshop student and are attending with someone who is. You will need a chaperone pass if you are the designated chaperone for someone who is under 18 for a week. Either pass will allow you to attend every non-class event for your designated week.

If you are purchasing a guest pass due to financial concerns, please consider the following options:

  1. Applying for a scholarship and becoming a full-time student during the week you are planning to attend: Scholarship application
  2. Becoming part of the Volunteer Collective, which will both help Augusta achieve its mission and will give you access to classes and events: Volunteer Collective Information

Augusta Heritage Center is always interested in “passing it on” to our youth. However, a few basic rules apply for reasons of safety and for the benefit of all who attend Augusta.

  • Participants may not bring infants or children to workshops in which they are not enrolled.
  • Parents/chaperones are responsible for children when the children are not attending workshops.
  • Participants under age 18 must name an adult chaperone who has agreed to be responsible for them during their week at Augusta.
  • Children who have finished Kindergarten through 6th grade may enroll in Folk Arts for Kids.
  • Older youth may enroll in adult workshops with a letter of recommendation from a teacher or mentor and if pre-approved by the Augusta Heritage Center and the workshop leader. An adult level of participation is expected.
  • Minimum age requirements vary for craft workshops.
