Whether you’ve always wanted to sing but didn’t know where to start, you’re ready to reconnect with your voice in a bold new way, or you are a seasoned vocalist looking to expand your repertoire, this class is for you.
Over the week, we’ll dip our toes in:
- * The foundations of blues phrasing and vocal technique
- * Classic blues song forms and lyric interpretation
- * Breathing, tone, and vocal power
- * Call and response, improvisation, and finding your personal style
- * How to feel the blues—not just sing it
Expect a welcoming space to try things out, mess up, laugh, learn, and grow. We’ll sing individually and as a group, working with simple songs that leave room for real expression.
No previous experience is necessary—just bring your voice and your courage.
