Fiddle | Walter Hojka | Beginning | Evening Mini-Class | Week 3 (July 22-25, 2024)
Have you ever wanted to try the fiddle? This class will take you from never having touched the instrument to playing a tune by the end of the week. Class is open to all ages! This class is offered both Week 1 and Week 3. You can take either or both classes!
Mini-classes are held Monday through Thursday the week of programming from 6:00-7:15pm. They may be taken in addition to daytime classes or on their own. Cost is $75. Augusta has a limited number of instruments to lend for this class (mostly full-size, with a few 3/4 size). Please contact the Augusta office at 304 637 1209 to reserve an instrument for the week.
About the Instructor:
Walter Hojka has taught and performed all over the country, including extended teaching positions at the Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago and in the Pendleton County School System in his home of Franklin, WV.
