Guitar | Steve Baughman | Intermediate-Advanced | Evening Mini-Class | Week 2 (July 15-18, 2024)
Have you ever wondered what your guitar would sound like in a different tonight? Here’s a guided opportunity to do just that. By the end of this quick immersion in Orkney Tuning you will hear new sounds and textures floating from your guitar. You will also find yourself jamming on a couple of simple folk songs, and maybe even a fiddle tune. You’ll also find yourself having great fun. For intermediate and advanced guitar players.
Mini-classes are held Monday through Thursday the week of programming from 6:00-7:15pm. They may be taken in addition to daytime classes or on their own. Cost is $75.
About the instructor:
Steve Baughman’s solo guitar playing, appears on Rounder Records and has been prominently featured on the NPR syndicated show “Thistle and Shamrock.” His albums have made several “best of” and “editor’s pick” lists at Acoustic Guitar Magazine. Steve has also taught about 100 music camps across the US, Canada, and Europe and he has toured widely both solo and with his duet partner, Robin Bullock. Steve has spent the last 30 years in the San Francisco Bay Area but recently made the move to Asheville, NC.
