Meet your instructors:
Emilee Marie Goodman is an Elkins, West Virginia-based multimedia artist and instructor. She holds a B.A. in Art from Davis and Elkins College and has worked as a teaching artist in her community since 2019. Colorful and abstract, her artwork uses rich pigments with bold linework and contrast to create expressive images. “Color is life!” she says. “I’m fascinated by the physiological and emotional impact that color has on our everyday lives – and try to show that in my work.” In her free time, Emilee can be found in her home studio and enjoying the outdoors with her dog.
Kylie Proudfoot-Payne is a painter and multimedia artist from West Virginia. Kylie graduated from Davis & Elkins College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology/human services and art education. She is a teaching artist with ArtsBank Inc, an artist in residence program in the Randolph County schools.
