  1. I very much enjoyed this Cajun Panel Discussion from 1987. Well done Gerry Milnes, et al. Its going to be fun to review all of this archived material. Thank you for not getting these tapes digitized and making the material so accessible.

  2. Here are some possibilities on who the “unnamed speakers” are in this recording. In the order in which they speak:
    1. Tracy Schwarz (He’s called Tracy late in the recording.)
    2. Lee or Leah? A woman from Louisiana
    3. Robert – very probably Robert Jardell
    4. Dewey Balfa
    5. Peter Schwarz
    6. Trent – Could this be Trent Van Blaricom? He’s identified as relatively new to Cajun music at this point.

    These are the only people on the panel who speak. Of course we also hear Margo Blevins and a few people in the audience who ask questions.
