    1. Hey Sandra,
I apologize for the late response but we just yesterday published our volunteer application. I will include the form and some introductory info to it below! There will be a spot to indicate your interest in volunteering for the festival.

Are you passionate about supporting traditional arts and eager to become more involved in the vibrant community at the Augusta Heritage Center? Look no further than the Augusta Volunteer Collective! By joining our collective, you not only contribute to the heart and soul of our organization but also gain access to a wealth of enriching experiences at no additional cost.

As part of our mission to promote and preserve traditional arts, we offer a range of services and activities, including classes, dances, concerts, and more. Members of the Augusta Volunteer Collective have the unique opportunity to participate in these offerings while connecting with like-minded individuals who share their enthusiasm for cultural heritage.

Applications submitted before June 1 will receive preferential placement preference, so don’t delay in joining us for this exciting opportunity! Supporting the organization you love has never been easier or more rewarding.

Please note that service and classes are considered on a case-by-case basis and are similar in scope to each other. For instance, half a day of service for a week generally garners half a day of classes during the same week. Ushering for a concert garners admittance to a concert and accompanying dance. Meals and housing can not be provided as a part of this service. We highly encourage coordinating the week of service with the week of classes for optimal participation.

Join the Augusta Volunteer Collective today and embark on a journey of service, learning, and connection within our vibrant community! This is a perfect way for those near and far to engage in the activities and classes you love while contributing to Augusta’s mission and becoming part of a team.

  1. Hi, I have Schacht Mighty Wolf loom for sale. It is still in the box. There is also the warp and many accessories. I have arthritis that has gotten worse that has prevented me from experiencing the joy of weaving. If you know of anyone that might be interested in purchasing this loom, I would be asking full price, with the accessories given for free. The cost would be $4800. They would have to pick it up in Cabins, WV 26855.
