Exploring Multiples Through Screen Printing Kevin M. Woodcock In this course, students will learn a variety of ways to create original screen prints. Some of the methods that we will use are the CMYK style of creating our stencils to print, we will also try the cut paper stencil style of printing. Students will learn how to apply photographic emulsion to a screen, learn how to expose and wash out their image on a screen and finally how to print multiple colors on the same image using a squeegee to push the ink through a screen. We will learn how to print an edition of 6 prints that look the same. This course is designed for the complete beginner, all you need to do is bring enthusiasm for learning and some image ideas to use for your print designs. Please wear clothes that can get ink on them or bring an old shirt that can be used as a smock to protect your good clothes. This is Art, you will get messy.
