Singing | Kari Sickenberger | All Levels | Period 2 | Week 2 (July 14-19, 2024)
In this class, we will study some of the great voices in the history of traditional harmony singing. From the early days of the Carter Family to contemporary duos like Polecat Creek (Laurelyn Dossett and myself) and lots in between, we will explore what makes a good harmony, how they vary, and why. Each day we will explore another harmony duet that has a unique sound (think Jim and Jesse, Hazel and Alice, George and Tammy…..) Then we will find tools to get the most out of our own voices to create our own unique harmonies with each other. All levels of singing comfort and experience are welcomed in this class. Our goal is to play, learn, grow, and have fun.
